WOMEN’S EQUALITY DAY :: A YBN Shout Out!

by Harvey Gold on August 26, 2011

Today, as we anticipate Hurricane Irene hitting the east coast, is, coincidentally, Women’s Equality Day.

We at YBN want to gratefully acknowledge this day by way of a link to the New School’s profile of a woman truly influential in the Craft Brewing World, and founder of the Pink Boots SocietyTeri Fahrendorf. Happy W.E.D. to everyone. Be Safe Everyone.

Awesome! I’m all about women’s equality day. I love the photo. My mom was a Rosie the Riveter. Actually, she soldered radios at Admiral Radio in Chicago during the war. Since then, the girls in our family kept going and never looked back.

I love women. They’re the best thing ever created. If they want to be like men and come down to our level, that’s fine with me.
