Strong Rope Brewery Red Hook

Strong Rope Brewery makes its beers with 100 percent New York ingredients, celebrating the state’s farmers and maltsters. After ten years, it closed its original Gowanus taproom in March 2026, and its Red Hook waterfront location is now its home.

The Red Hook taproom has a patio facing New York Harbor with a view of the Statue of Liberty. There is no kitchen, but food trucks and pop-ups visit, and outside food is welcome. Leashed dogs are welcome too. It occasionally closes for private events, so check the calendar before you go.
