About the network
What is Your Beer Network?
Your Beer Network is a directory and community for beer lovers. It brings together breweries, taprooms, bottle shops, beer bars, and the beer blogs, podcasts, and homebrew sites worth reading, along with articles about beer styles, brewing, and beer culture.
Is it free to join?
Yes. Creating an account and adding a listing are both free.
Who can join?
Anyone who loves beer can create an account to leave reviews. Breweries, taprooms, bottle shops, beer bars, and beer-focused websites can also add a listing.
Listings
How do I add my listing?
Create a free account, then go to Add Listing. Choose Beer Places for a physical location or Beer Sites for a website, blog, or podcast, and fill out the form.
What is the difference between Beer Places and Beer Sites?
Beer Places are physical locations people can visit, such as breweries, taprooms, bottle shops, and beer bars. Beer Sites are online: blogs, news sites, podcasts, video channels, and homebrew resources.
Why is my listing pending?
Every new listing is reviewed before it goes live. This keeps the directory accurate and free of spam. You will receive an email once your listing is approved.
Can I edit my listing after it is approved?
Yes. Log in and open your listing to update its details, hours, photos, and links at any time.
Reviews
Who can leave a review?
Anyone can rate and review a listing. Please keep reviews honest and based on your own experience.
Can listing owners respond to reviews?
Not at this time. Review replies are planned as a feature of future listing upgrades.
The badge and Network Members
What is the ratings badge?
The badge is a small widget you can add to your own website. It shows your live star rating and review count from Your Beer Network and links visitors to your listing.
How do I add the badge to my site?
Open your listing while logged in, click Get embed code, copy the code, and paste it into your site. On WordPress, a Custom HTML block works perfectly. See Get the Badge for step-by-step instructions for WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, and other sites.
How do I get into the Network Members ring on the homepage?
Add the badge to your site, then let us know. Once we confirm the badge is live, your site is added to Network Members.
What happens if I remove the badge?
Your listing stays in the directory, but your site is removed from the Network Members ring.

Yes. We welcome articles from beer lovers, brewers, and writers. Contact us with your idea or draft and we will be in touch.
