Bell’s Brewery traces its roots to Kalamazoo, Michigan, where Larry Bell began brewing commercially in 1985. It has since grown into one of the largest craft breweries in the Midwest, with a production facility in nearby Comstock.
The Eccentric Cafe in downtown Kalamazoo is the brewery’s original home, with a full menu, a beer garden, and a live music venue. Bell’s is best known for Two Hearted IPA, brewed entirely with Centennial hops, and Oberon, a summer wheat ale whose seasonal release is a long-standing Michigan tradition.
