Founders Brewing Co.

Founders Brewing Co. was started in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1997 by Mike Stevens and Dave Engbers. After a rocky first few years, the brewery found its footing by focusing on big, complex beers and grew into one of the most respected names in American craft brewing.

Founders is especially known for its barrel-aged program, led by KBS, a bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout, and for All Day IPA, one of the best-selling session IPAs in the country. The downtown Grand Rapids taproom is a regular stop for beer travelers in the Midwest.
