Montauk Brewing Company

Lifelong friends Vaughan Cutillo, Eric Moss, and Joe Sullivan founded Montauk Brewing Company in 2012, starting small and delivering their first kegs by bicycle to local bars. Today it is one of Long Island’s best-known craft breweries, with beers poured across the New York metro area.

The red Brew Barn, a short walk from the beach in downtown Montauk, is New York’s easternmost brewery. Visitors can enjoy flagships like Wave Chaser IPA and Summer Ale, plus Brew Barn exclusives, at picnic tables outside. Montauk opened a second taproom on Long Island’s North Shore in 2026.
