Other Half opened its original brewery and taproom in 2014 where Carroll Gardens, Red Hook, and Gowanus meet, and quickly became one of the most influential IPA brewers in the country. It is known for intensely hopped hazy IPAs and double IPAs such as Green City and the All Green Everything series, along with barrel-aged stouts and experimental releases.
The Centre Street taproom pours 20 drafts plus wine and cider, with cans and bottles to go. There is no kitchen, but light snacks are available and you are welcome to bring in or order food. Leashed dogs are welcome. Other Half also runs a taproom at Domino Park in Williamsburg.
