Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is one of the founding names of American craft beer. Ken Grossman opened the brewery in Chico, California in 1980, and its Pale Ale went on to become one of the most recognized craft beers in the country, helping define the hop-forward American pale ale style.

The Chico campus includes a taproom and restaurant, and the brewery offers tours that walk visitors through its brewing operation. Beyond the Pale Ale, Sierra Nevada is known for Torpedo Extra IPA, Hazy Little Thing IPA, and its annual Celebration Fresh Hop IPA.
